HAGERSTOWN, Md. – A joint cleanup event along the C&O Canal is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, in Sharpsburg.
The Washington County Clean County Initiative and the C&O Canal Trust will host the cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon at Big Slackwater Boat Ramp, 21782.
All cleanup materials will be provided, along with light refreshments for volunteers. The event qualifies for Student Service Learning (SSL) hours.
